Who We Are
We are here not for income, but for outcome
CLARA stands for, “Concern-Lane Alliance for Rural Areas”. It is a non-governmental, non-profit and based in Faisalabad, Punjab Pakistan. It is dedicated to community development work without any discrimination of sex, caste and creed. It is working at grassroots level with poor and low-income women, youth, children and disadvantaged rural population to improve their socio-economic & basic human rights situation to generate a society with equal citizenship. At present it is working in Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang & districts.
It is involved in promotion of Quality education, Technical skills, Advocacy, Human Rights/Women Rights, Livelihood & Interfaith dialogue. It is registered with the Government under Societies Registration Act 1860. So far, it is serving with the following aims and objectives.
- Formal and Non-formal education.
- Women empowerment. (Women Rights)
- Vocational guidance and skill development.
- Livelihood.
- Agriculture/working with poor farmers.
- Community development and awareness programs.
- Relief and rehabilitation.

An empowered, peaceful & society where justice prevails, which is free of poverty and discrimination and everyone have access to basic human rights.
Goal
To bring a decline in their poor situation through their empowerment and mobilization.
