One of Muslim girl Ms. Sumera Sadiq (18) belongs to a poor family in Mohallah Rasool Park, street no 18. She has 6 sisters and 4 brothers. She is on third number. Her mother used to stitch their clothes at home. That is why from adolescent she was interested in learning stitching. But because of the Pakistani culture it was not allowed for her to learn stitching outside in some factory or hosiery.
But when they heard that an organization is giving separate classes for girls in stitching they agreed to send her to learn stitching. She is very talented and coming regularly to take classes. In future she wants to help her family by earning money through stitching of ladies, gents & children clothes at home. She has planned that after getting training she could easily earn Euro 130 – 150 per month.
N.B. In Pakistan the female tailor sitting at home can easily stitch 3-4 suits on simple machine with motor. They charge Rs. 200-250 per suit/dress (price may increase depending on the design).
If we look on Pakistani fashion, people are crazy about the trendy fashion. They will follow the trend at any cost even if their pocket allows them or not. Instead of paying school fee they will prefer to get new clothes.

Aftab Masih from Railway Colony, near Abdullahpur (age 35) is the father of 6 children. His left leg is affected with polio. But it moves and has sensations in that leg. He is very hardworking and always willing to do learn something new. Even in this situation he is driving a local transport (RIKSHAW).
Before driving Rickshaw he was stitching male clothes at home. Now he is planning to open his own small shop of stitching in city area on rent. Yesterday one of his daughters (educated) has also joined the training centre and is planning to work in a factory or hosiery to help his family. We will get a job opportunity for her after giving her training certificate.
Aftab Masih wants to get training in tailoring to earn for his family. In the part time he will drive this local transport also.
